Ted and Laurie, so sorry to here of your mother's passing. She was such wonderful kind woman and always friendly to me when my husband Bob died (her nephew). May she rest in peace with her husband and children. Sharon Prowse

Margaret was a very good friend of mine (Mary Johnston (Holmes) for over 85 years as we grew up together in West Hamilton. We went on many trips together Florida, Las Vegas, Salvation Army Camp and Poconos to a resort. We were still going to different clubs and lunches until about 2 years ago. I miss seeing her and Laurie at the West End Diner when I went with Bill & Cindy they were always sitting in a booth together. I miss her dearly. Mary

Margaret was a kind and jovial soul and a dear friend to Alice Dickenson. Margaret and Alice watched each other’s families grow up and start their own families. Together they would attend many social functions. . Dinner or brunch several times a week was something the ladies always looked forward to after picking up a few groceries. Living just a few doors away from each other for decades was like having an extended family. Many of Alice’ s photos show Margaret laughing in the background. Be a peace Margaret.

We will always remember you with love, Aunt Margaret. You were always at the different functions, and could always fill in the blank spaces of our family history. You were an amazing lady--taking up quilting at 80 yrs. of age. will treasure our visits with you always.==Love, Fred and Cynthia(nee Prowse) Thurlby
