My mother, Marie Frederiksen, started to date Craig over 17 years ago and he quickly became a cherished part of our family. He joined in all our celebrations as the family grew with marriages and births and I have many years of memories of Craig enjoying the family Christmas gatherings and the laughter at the shenanigans we would get up to. He loved being surrounded be all kids and merriment and he took great pride on making sure there was dessert, I think it was his favorite part of the meal.

When my daughter Riley was young, Craig and her were thick as thieves, hanging out together with the gossip crowd at Tim Hortons and more times than I can count I would pick her up at Mom's place after work to find her with a box of Timbits; Craig would just smile like it wasn't his fault she was spoiling her dinner.

We will miss our Papa for a long time to come - there will always be a place set for you at our family gatherings, rest in peace Craig (papa).

Craig (Papa) started dating my grandmother Marie when I was young. I remember them babysitting me together. Papa lived down the street from me and my family growing up so we knew him a little before he became a part of our family. He would drive me to my first job when I was 15 because I couldn't drive myself, but I returned the favor later on driving him places. Papa was such a huge part of my life and I am gonna truly miss him but I will cherish all the amazing memories over the past 17 years! Rest in peace Papa! Shawntel Pollmann
