Obituary for Phyllis Joy Schmidt (Lynn)
It is with hearts full of love that the family of Joy announces her passing on Tuesday April 20, 2021 in her 94th year. Back in the loving arms of her husband and best friend Edwin Schmidt. Beloved mother of Philip (Sally) Schmidt, Gilbert (Sharon) Schmidt, Lorene Rodgers, Karen Bell (Jerry Meyer) and Valerie (Mark) Coleiro. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Eric, Adam, Timothy, Lyndsey, Jennifer ( Mike), Shannon ( Kedar), Robert (Selena), Nicole and Erica. Loving great grandmother of Olivia and Alexis. Joan Rose of Belleville, On. Joy is predeceased by her parents Curtis and Muriel Lynn (nee Kaufman) and her siblings John (Hazel) Lynn, Janet (Morley Chapman), Jane (John Reddekopp), Mary Meyer and brother in law Mel Rose.
Cremation has taken place and Joy's family will hold a Celebration of her life at a later date. In memory of Joy, donations to Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) would be greatly appreciated by her family. Friends are invited to send condolences and sign the Book of Memories at www.ballardminorfh.ca.
