It is with saddened hearts that the family of Orval Lawrence Dickhout announces his passing at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital on Sunday January 31, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Lois (nee. Graham) Dickhout. Cherished father of David ( Darilyn ), Richard ( Deidre ), Roger ( Paula ) and Darryl ( Ruth ) Dickhout. Loving grandfather to Devon, Daylon, Sarah, Kayla, Madison, Morgan, Lisa, Daryl and will be greatly missed by many great grandchildren. Orval will be fondly remembered by his siblings Sharon Spittal, Marguerite ( Gordon ) Warmington.
Orval is predeceased by his granddaughter Jessica, his parents Ivan and Olive ( nee. King) Dickhout, his siblings Ken Dickhout, Eldon Dickhout, Glenna Warmington sister in law Kay Dickhout and brother in laws Roy Warmington and John Spittal.
The family would like to thank Dr Kobah for his attentiveness, care and compassion through this difficult time. In keeping with Orval's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. In memory of Orval, donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
