Obituary for Marion Gertrude Costello (Flagg)

COSTELLO, Marion Gertrude – (April 8, 1926 to February 19, 2020)
Marion will be sadly missed after a long and wonderful life, passing in her 94th year at the Vineland Mennonite Home for the Aged. She spent her life serving the Lord, sharing her faith as a Sunday School Teacher, Pioneer Girls Guide, and participating in various other volunteer work for the church while never missing a beat with caring for her busy family. Marion was predeceased by her husband Albert, her son Daniel (Anna), son Philip (Nancy), adopted son Harold (Veronica), parents Isaac & Agnes Flagg and sister Annie Grant. Lovingly cherished and remembered by her children, Elly (Dave), Ralph (Bonnie), Roger (Tracy) and Muriel (Peter); beloved grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren with another on the way; also remembered by her brothers and sisters, George, Margaret, Dorothy, Paul, Martha, Ben, and her many nieces and nephews and their families.
Friends are invited to the Wainfleet BIC Church, 53007 Perry Rd., Wainfleet, Ont. on Sunday, February 23, 2020 for visitation from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Wainfleet BIC Church on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with internment to follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend lunch at the church after the internment to celebrate the life of a much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met.
