Obituary for John Douglas Barrow
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of John Douglas Barrow on March 12, 2023 at the age of 80 years following a sudden brain aneurysm. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Shirley; his son: Jeffrey John (Jessica Clark Barrow) and grandchildren: Hayden Edward and Emma Chilton.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr Kazemi and the incredible staff at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Minga Cafe's DREAM (Designing Routes to Education and Mentorship) Program in memory of Doug would be greatly appreciated by his family.
