Passed away peacefully on Saturday February 20th, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton in his 78th year. Loving partner and best friend to Mary Corey and their fur baby Maggie. Beloved brother of Diane (Jose) Garcia, Carol Seminara, Dorothy Leece, Lynda Kauth, Natalie (Peter) Anaman and Judy (Rick) Beecroft. Dear father in law of Ernie Kopeschny. Jim will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, as well as extended family on Mary's side. Predeceased by his wife Sharon (nee) Hines, his daughter Margaret and his son James Jr .
Family will receive friends at the Ballard Minor Funeral Home, 315 Broad Street E, Dunnville on Thursday February 25th from 2 - 4 pm. Those wishing to attend the visitation must RSVP through the funeral home website. Please arrive in the parking lot 10 minutes prior to the chosen visitation time and speak to a parking attendant. Masks are required at all times when in the funeral home. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private family funeral will take place on Friday February 26th at 11 am. The funeral service will be livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page and will also be available from the funeral home website for those wishing to join with and support the family in this way.
