James William Alde (Jim)
Peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday. February 8th. 2023, in his 64th year. Loving Father to Lisa (Craig) and James (Katherine). Will be missed by his Mother Marie Fess (predeceased by Stepfather Ray) and predeceased by Father James Alde. Sibling to Debbie, Gary, Jayne, and predeceased by Murray. Stepbrother to Susan (Henry), Bev (Chris), and predeceased by Jim. Leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Jim was incredibly proud of his 6 grandchildren, Taylor (Josh), Brandon, Jaxon, Abri, Parker, and Emmett. Jim worked as a Diesel Mechanic for over 30 years between Ryder Truck and Empire Transportation. Jim loved spending time with his family, and he had a tremendous love for his two dogs, Titan and Yukon who will miss him very much. At Jim’s request a cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 18th from 2-4pm @ 484 Smithville Road, Canfield. A special thank you to both the home care and Dunnville Hospital staff. Donations in Jim’s name to be made to Dunnville Hospital or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard Minor Funeral Home, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville, Ontario, N1A 1G4.
