Helen Marie Shook (Robert) (Warren)
Born March 2, 1939 passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022. She is survived by her beloved husband Clarence, children Leonard Robert (Marilyn), Lynn Robert, Randy Shook (Wendy). She was the best Grandma to Laura Gmaz and Michael Brain (Bridget).
Predeceased by her first husband Fernand Robert, parents Arthur Gordon and Jennie Warren and brother Jimmy Warren as well an infant son Terry. Also missing her are her siblings Larry Warren (d-Doris), Edna Foster (Albert), Beverly Comfort (d-Karl) plus many nieces and nephews. Also missing her is Shirley Burgess, her closest sister/friend.
A hard worker in life, Helen's career accomplishment came as a school bus driver. She filled many hours in retirement knitting, crocheting, singing and dancing - enjoying her life. She donated much of her handmade blankets to charity. Mom is now in the arms of her Saviour who is saying "Well done good and faithful servant. You've been faithful over little, I will put you over much."
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Many thanks to Dr. Xu and the staff of Haldimand War Memorial Hospital for their excellent care of our wife, mother and friend. Donations can be made to the Dunnville Hospital and Healthcare Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville.
