“Dad went Home for Christmas “

Peacefully at his residence, dad passed away on Christmas Eve at the age of 89.
Awaiting him at Heavens Gates was Mom (Millie, nee Dashwood - deceased 2001) and his two sons (Wayne –deceased 1977 and Rick - deceased 2017).
Sadly missed by daughters: Lorraine Poth (Richard), Fern Jackson (Jim),

Dad’s parents (Cleveland Judson and Medora Melissa – deceased) raised a large family of 14 children in the township of Caistor. Dad was the third oldest with surviving siblings : Ken, Cleveland, Robert, Mary, Faye and Violet. (Deceased siblings: Jack, Merle, Ross, Muriel , Murray, Dorothy and Myrtle) .

Dad worked as a butcher for many years at the Dunnville Meat Packers and then worked at the Welland Iron & Brass Company. An injury in 1982 forced him to retire.... but he never did “retire”. Always known as “Uncle Glenn” that could fix any car/truck /snowmobile/tractor or butcher up beef, pig or deer on the back roads of South Cayuga; Dad was that special someone who gave you an honest answer, whether you liked what he had to say or not ! LOL

Dad will be missed by all of us and fondly remembered by Francis and his Byng neighbours: Al & Darlene, Ron, Wray, Jake & Alison.
Interment has taken place. Memorial Donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the
Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Lowbanks Fire Hall, January 4, 2020 from 1-4 pm. Come and join the family for some “story -telling and reminiscing” as we pay tribute to this wonderful man known as ‘Brother, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Glenn and a special ” Papa” to his two boys, CR & Nikko.’
