On Monday, December 28, 2020, the Lord took unto Himself, Geertje Cornelia van Soelen from Parkview Meadows, Townsend at the age of 80. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sinus in 2014. Dear sister of Jan (Nancy) and Ad van Merkerk. Dear sister-in-law of Cor and Ina van Soelen, Siny DeRuiter, Annie and Pieter van Zandwyk and Rina Minjon. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Jaap and her husband’s family Elizabeth and Klaas, Bert and Aleda, Audrey, Cor, Frans and Kees. The funeral service for Grace will be held at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, Dunnville on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11 am. Due to COVID restrictions, the service is closed to the public but will be livestreamed on the funeral home facebook page and on the funeral home website (www.ballardminorfh.ca for those who wish to join the family in this way. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Dunnville. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
