It is with heavy hearts that the family of Doug Thompson announces his passing on Sunday December 27, 2020 at his home, in his 75th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorraine (nee Dennis). Cherished father of Devin (Carrie), Jennifer (Alex) Griffin, Stefanie (James) Reaman. Loving grandfather of Brody (Haylee), Dawson (Madryn) Sienna, Joshua (Chantel), Brennen (Dylan) Heather; Shanelle. Great grandfather to Sadie, Lilah and Della. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his sister Sharon and brother in law William Morrison. He was the loving brother in law of Randy Dennis, Brian (Debbie) Dennis, Sandra (Greg Garmon), Marsha (Roger Nagel), Cecil O'Marra and uncle Doug to many nieces and Nephews. Doug is predeceased by his parents Wilson & Alma Thompson of Hybla (Bancroft), his in-laws Floyd & Audrey Dennis of Selkirk, his sister Marlene O'Marra; and brothers Joey (Doris) Thompson, Ken (Madeline) Thompson. In keeping with Dougs wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard Minor Funeral Home, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville, Ontario, N1A 1G4.
