We just finished watching the livestream and want to note our appreciation for Stacey's reminiscences of Bruce's life. You captured your dad's strengths and eccentricities to a T! We pictured each one of them in our minds as you went through so many of them. What a unique and interesting man he was! We also appreciated the pastor's meditation on being in God's hands in life and in death. It reminded us of another scripture about hands: Psalm 90:17 "May the favour of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands." The transfer of his working hands into the hands of God has been completed.

Always remember Uncle Bruce's sense of humour; as a kid he would call my sister and I by silly names like Cecil. Times we got together as families, whether in Wellandport or Egbert were highlights of my childhood. Even though his health had not been good for some time, he still made the effort to come to my Dad's funeral last December. I'm sorry to say goodbye.
