Obituary for Bram Hanemaayer

The Lord, in His infinite wisdom, called home His child, Bram Hanemaayer on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Dini for 53 years. Loving father of six, proud Opa of thirty-one and great-Opa of two: Bernadette (†1974); Arend Hanemaayer - Colin [Charlotte], Abby; John (Anne-Marie) Hanemaayer - Michael, Cheryl (Justin) [Tyson], Daniel (Melanie), Rachel (Justin), Samuel, Janelle, Joel, Nathaniel, Kyle; Angeline (Dave) Van Laren - Yvonne (Jesse), Cole, Clarissa, Elena, Olivia, Bowen; Bernice (Jerry) Haveman - James, Lucas, Peter, Dina, John, Andrew, Laura; Antoni (Hannah) Hanemaayer - Abraham, Silas, Hadassah, Miriam, Theophilus, Cornelius, and Ebenezer. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Jennie (Bill†) Stevens, Pete (Wilma†) Hanemaayer, Jim (Kathy†) Hanemaayer, Bert (Agnes) Hanemaayer, Coby (Herman) Schakel, Ineke (Terry) Visser, Annette (Ron) Horlings, Anne (Murray) Horlings, and Arthur Hanemaayer, sister-in-law Betsie (Norm) Buck and all his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Arend and Antoinette, and his brother, Tony. Bram dedicated his life to serving the Lord in his family, church, and the work to which he put his hands.
Friends and relatives will be received for visitation at Wellandport United Reformed Church, 74082 Wellandport Road, Wellandport, Ontario, Friday, January 7, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Due to the new restrictions effective January 5, 2022, all those wishing to attend the visitation must RSVP through the funeral home website. (Masks and physical distancing are required at all times when inside the church.) Funeral service will be held at Wellandport United Reformed Church on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11 am. A private family interment will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery, in Wainfleet. If desired, donations in memory of Bram, may be made to Mid-America Reformed Seminary.
